Real Bride Paige

For my wedding day look, I always knew I wanted to feel like myself - just with a little more magic.

We were married in April at Bendooley Estate in the Southern Highlands, and the setting really shaped the whole vision. Autumn in the Highlands has such a natural romance to it: soft golden light, beautiful seasonal tones, and that slightly crisp feeling in the air. I didn’t want my look to compete with the venue or the scenery. I wanted everything to feel timeless, simple and considered.

My dress was an ivory crepe gown with chiffon sleeves - minimal, classic, and free from embellishment. I always knew I wanted sleeves, especially for an autumn wedding, and I loved that they suited the season while still feeling soft and effortless. I also didn’t have a train on my dress, which was really important to me. I wanted to move freely, feel relaxed, and be able to enjoy the night without fuss. We wanted the whole day to feel easy and joyful: good food, good wine, everyone comfortable, and dancing late into the night. My look really followed that same feeling - no fuss, romantic, and true to who I am.

I kept my hair and makeup clean and classic. I chose not to fake tan because I wanted to feel like myself, and went for glowy, romantic makeup that still felt impactful. My hair was styled in a sleek high bun, which felt very “me” because I rarely wear my hair out. It also allowed the neckline, sleeves and shape of the dress to really speak for themselves. I wore a simple, chiffon veil tucked below the bun to keep the overall look soft and understated.

Because the dress, veil and hair were all so minimal, my earrings from The Traveller Series became the piece that brought everything together. They were the statement. I originally imagined wearing a simple pearl drop, but once I saw the space created by the V-neckline, the bare décolletage and the clean bun - and because I wasn’t wearing a necklace and didn’t want one - I realised I wanted something a little more special and glamorous. A double pearl drop with slightly larger pearls felt like the perfect balance - still timeless and classic, but with enough presence to complete the look.

During my consult with Tiffany, I mentioned that I wanted the hook of the earring to sit closely against my ear, almost giving the illusion that the pearls began at the lobe. That detail made such a difference. The pearls themselves were large and slightly irregular in shape, which I loved because they added a natural, organic feel that tied in beautifully with the venue and the autumnal surroundings.

It wasn’t until I put the earrings on the morning of the wedding that I really felt like a bride. They complemented the dress, hair and veil perfectly, and gave me that final touch of bridal glamour I had been looking for. They filled the space so beautifully without overpowering anything. I received so many compliments on them throughout the day, and they truly became my favourite part of the entire look.

Looking back, the earrings were the detail that made everything feel complete. My vision was always to feel timeless, romantic and completely myself - and my earrings from TTS captured that perfectly! I can't thank Tiffany and the team enough. xxx

I have loved luxury since I was young. Not in an aspirational, keep-up-with-everyone way. More quietly than that. I was drawn to the craft of it — the idea that something could be made so carefully...
